How many users can NetDog support?

NetDog can scale to millions of users, however specific performance depends on the number of servers and your game design

How will NetDog improve my costs?

NetDog reduces both development and operating costs. Development is accelerated dramatically by using a proven, out of the box solution. In addition, NetDog's ease of use and flexibility provides a fast learning curve, and broad application of our toolset, so that head-scratching and re-work is limited. NetDog can dramatically reduce operating costs by operating in distributed mode- by off-loading some or all of the server processing to your clients.

What platforms do you support?

NetDog currently operates on PC, Macintosh and Linux, with development underway for Xbox 360, PS3 and iPhone.

We plan on using a 3rd party game engine for our game, will NetDog be compatible with it?

With a flexible underlying architecture with C-bindings, NetDog can easily integrate into most 3rd party game engines – in fact, we have already integrated with many of them, contact us to learn about success stories and ease of integration for the engine you are choosing.

We developed our own game engine, will NetDog work with it?

As mentioned above, NetDog has flexible integration points and can easily integrate into a variety of game architectures, and shoul easily work with your proprietary engine.

How quickly can I get started?

Netdog has a simple, easy-to-use API with intuitive functions that should be easy for most developers to learn and start using within a matter of minutes. In addition, the basic NetDog functionality can integrate into game architecture using only a few function calls. NetDog can easily be integrated into demos and prototypes, within a week.

What support do you offer?

We provide a comprehensive online help guide, complete with tutorials. Basic support is provided with licensing, and specific support can be negotiated as part of our contract. In addition, we will provide source code for non-patentable components. We want you to be successful, so the PX Interactive team will actively work with your team to build your world quickly and easily with NetDog.
